Toffee Popcorn

You Will Need

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Cup Butter 
  • 2 Cups Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Corn Syrup 
  • Popcorn

Process

  • Pop some popcorn
  • Put in as many shallow pans necessary
  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees
  • Set your stove for medium or 5 
  • In a medium sauce pan melt the butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, and the salt
  • DO NOT STIR FOR FOUR MINUTES
  • Remove from heat
  • Add vanilla extract and baking soda and mix
  • Drizzle toffee on popcorn and mix in 
  • Bake for one hour in 15 minute segments
  • Every 15 minutes mix it up
  • Once cooled break in to pieces
